Il Relais L’Orsa Gemma occupa un palazzo storico della seconda metà del 1800 sulla piazza principale del paese di Villalago.
La struttura è stata completamente rinnovata curando ogni dettaglio sia estetico che funzionale in modo da offrire agli ospiti un ambiente piacevole e raffinato, lontano dal formalismo alberghiero.
Le camere sono arredate con mobili antichi di famiglia e portano nomi di noti pittori dell’ 800 per far sentire gli ospiti, come a casa propria. Ognuna ha il proprio bagno, con un ampia doccia e dalle finestre che caratterizzano il Relais è possibile ammirare i colori unici della valle.
The Relais L’Orsa Gemma is located in an historic building dating from the second half of the 19th century facing the main square in the town of Villalago (AQ).
The building was completely remodeled down to the last detail in terms of both functional and aesthetic improvements in order to offer guests a pleasant, sophisticated setting, getting away from the formality typical of hotels.
The rooms are furnished with antique family furniture and feature the works of well-known nineteenth-century painters in order to make the guests feel right at home. Each room has its own bathroom with a double shower. From the distinctive windows that characterize the Relais one enjoys an excellent view of the unique colors of the valley.During the remodeling phase a major effort was made to include energy saving technical solutions and extensive use was made of ecologically compatible materials.
If guests wish, they may leave their valuables to be deposited in the hotel safe where they will be secure.
Hotel guests also have at their disposal a comfortable lounge area, a large room where breakfast is served, various quiet reading areas, two delightful terraces and a large parking lot in the square.
Villalago has been included in the exclusive list of ‘Borghi più belli d'Italia’ (the most beautiful towns in Italy), an honor in recognition of the town’s outstanding urbanistic, environmental and cultural merits.
